Brawn is on a mission to make lifting better by solving problems for those that lift competitively, or recreationally. Brawn achieves this by developing tools, information and support to the global lifting community. The first tool being the Brawn app – the ‘Strava for Strength’.

  • Founded in 2020 by Sohail Rashid and Andy Smith. Sohail is an award-winning tech entrepreneur, a former lawyer and data strategist.
  • Andy is a leading figure in the Health and Fitness industry and is an elite powerlifter - having previously won the European Powerlifting Championships.
  • Sohail says the idea for the app was bourne out of the difficulties of lockdown - he wanted to develop a way to allow users of all levels to compete against each other.
