As a business, our Environmental, Social and Corporate Government policy is not an add-on. It’s intrinsic to our values – it’s our purpose – and it shapes the way we work every day.
We see governance as more than just compliance. We insist upon transparency with all of our investment partners; we ensure that the companies we invest in work responsibly, and adhere to all employment and environmental regulations. We hold our own organisation to account through our B Corporation certificate. We’re a people-first organisation, and we’re working hard to make sure we offer opportunities or all. We believe that as a group, we must use our influence for good, and create positive change in business. And we use our charitable endeavours to help create a wider positive impact.
True is a certified B Corporation – which means we’ve been certified to have met the rigorous social and environmental standards which represent its commitment to goals outside of profit. The B Corp certification addresses the entirety of a business’ operations and covers five key impact areas of Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers.
True is part of a community of more than 4,000 businesses globally who have been certified as B Corps. The B Corp community in the UK, representing a broad cross section of industries and sizes, comprises more than 450 companies and include well-known brands such as The Guardian, Innocent, Patagonia, The Body Shop and organic food pioneers Abel & Cole.
We went beyond to make our business B Corp compliant; and we’ll make sure that the visionary companies we work with — and all the people their work touches — will feel the benefit.
