We are immensely proud of Universify reaching their 10th anniversary, and we know it has only been possible thanks to people who saw the potential of this charity, recognised the quality of their work, and gave real support to their team who pull it all together behind the scenes. At True, we are proud to have been one of those supporters since partnering with Universify in 2023.
Universify believes universities should be open to anyone with academic potential, regardless of their background. Their holistic, year-long programme supports Year 10-11 students from non-selective state schools, equipping them with the confidence, knowledge and aspirations to make informed decisions about their futures. Through a combination of university residential stays and coaching, they empower young people to achieve their potential and access opportunities in education and beyond.
Since we first partnered with Universify, we have seen even greater success from their long-term impact data, with young people supported by the programme 18 times more likely to apply to and gain places at some of the top universities in the country.
That's why we're encouraging our network to back Universify's Small Charity Week: Unlocking Potential campaign, in honour of their 10th anniversary.
