Beeline's mission is to get more people riding by improving the typical bike and motorcycle experiences and removing the barriers that put people off. We handle the routes, navigation and tracking so riders get the most from their journey.

  • In 2015 Co-founders Tom Putnam and Mark Jenner both got lost on their way cycling to meet each other for lunch. They joked with each other that they needed a compass and the concept of Beeline was born.
  • The business idea was to create a navigation system, that was reliable, but also made cycling fun and exploratory.
  • The pair took the idea to BBC 2s Dragon's Den and the product has also been featured on Amazon Prime's The Grand Tour.

Our journey with Beeline

Beeline was one of True's first seed stage investments. Already having Ribble Cycles in the portfolio we still maintain that the cycling industry is growing as consumers shift to more sustainable means of travelling and using cycling as a fitness hobby.
