Ribble was founded in 1897 near the River Ribble in Preston, Lancashire, and takes its name from the river. It sells bikes directly through its website, its own showrooms, and in partnership with The Cotswold Outdoor Group across the UK, with personalisation and customisation options to help each customer find their ideal bike.

 

Our journey with Ribble:

We first invested in Ribble in November 2015. We bolstered the management team and operating board, and launched an expanded range of premium high-performance road, gravel, electric and titanium bikes. Through True's retail network, Ribble entered bricks-and-mortar retail for the first time, and now operates 4 showrooms across the UK with further openings planned through its partnership with The Cotswold Outdoor Group.
